Arguably the most famous sports car of all time, the Shelby AC Cobras were revolutionary.  When a man named Carroll Shelby shoehorned a powerful Ford engine into a nimble British sports car a legend was created.  Today, original Shelby AC Cobras exchange hands for millions of dollars each.  However, Pathfinder Motorsports brings you the most authentic continuation Cobras available.

Unlike other Cobra reproductions, Pathfinder begins with a Shelby-licensed Superformance Mk III, that Carroll Shelby himself has said, is “as close to correct and well-built as possible."  We then work with our customers to ensure that painstaking details are incorporated that recreate the authenticity and even the patina of the originals.

Each rolling chassis comes completely assembled and painted, less the engine and transmission which are subject to a customer’s desires.  Want a licensed reproduction Cobra 289 FIA that is virtually indistinguishable from a $3 million original?  How about one with a Holman Moody 289 HiPo engine and original Borg-Warner four-speed manual gearbox?

With the Pathfinder Cobras, we have improved on the customary buying experience. Rather than purchasing a kit or roller, with a big question mark as to how much it will cost and how long it will take to complete your car, Pathfinder Motorsports will quote you a firm price on either a roller or a completed Cobra. And the completion process will be performed by Holman Moody to your specifications.

FIA 289 COMPLETE & READY-TO-RACE

As a special offer, a complete standard FIA Cobra, ‘ready to drive’, that includes an FIA 289 HiPo engine and a 4-speed transmission, along with everything listed in our ‘Standard Features’ section.  Delivery is estimated at between 30 and 60 days from the time of arrival in US.*
